Ok, now I think I have created our personal blog! I hope I am able to keep up with this too! I have one picture from when Rob and Tracee came to visit in October. They came to our house for dinner. We were supposed to meet up with them later that week at Disneyland, but unfortunately it didn't work out. Our schedules were a little off. Sorry Rob and Tracee. But we actually had a very exciting trip. Since I am back to work full time, I wanted to splurge when I received my first paycheck. At first I was trying to figure out something to buy for myself. I know, very selfish. Well, I have always wanted to stay at the Grand Californian so that's what we did. It was a total surprise for the kids. They actually layed down in the back seat so they wouldn't see where we were going. When we got there they wondered if we were in Big Bear, but Trev realized that we hadn't been driving long enough. Then he saw a sign with The Year of A Million Dreams and he realized we were at Disneyland, which we have passes to. The thrilling part came when I told them we were staying at the hotel. They were so excited. Upon checking in, we were told that we were chosen as "Family of the Day" and they upgraded us to a sweet! I have to tell you that the kids were exstatic that the suite had TWO flat screen TVs in our suite. At that point I was thinking, we spent all this money for a night with a couple of flat screens? After they got over the excitement of the tvs we proceeded with our mini vacation. If you ever want to splurge I recommend staying there for a night. It was a blast. I've posted a few pictures from that trip. Signing off for now. I have to go grade some papers. Yuck!
